The GN Band continue their uninterrupted stream of incredibly catchy power-pop singles with 'It's Nuts' and announce signing to Lost Map Records. Led by multi-instrumentalist George Nicholls and featuring members of Joanna Gruesome, Porridge Radio and Sniffany and The Nits the band make powerful guitar-led pop songs with a cutting political edge; 'It's Nuts' comments on the blasé dismissive attitudes towards work that it is all to easy to slip into, set to jangling guitars, twin solos, wriggling bass lines and shimmering keys. Here George describes the tracks influences and the ideas behind it; “‘It’s Nuts’ explores the limits of melodic immediacy within a groove evoking the likes of Lizzie Mercier Descloux, Essential Logic, Pere Ubu and Talking Heads.
